    Warhammer 40K Empty Warhammer 40K

    Message par a vehicl06 Juillet 3rd 2014, 9:50 pm

Well I have had my 40K army for a little while and hand painted it all myself teaching myself along the way to become a professional model painter and also so my army sticks out in a crowd Wink. So I decided to actually post on here the full painted army so there are around 16 models not included as they haven't been painted as of yet. I have posted some pictures on my facebook about 2 years ago but that was my army in it's smallest stage where as this is a more full army list Wink so yes our organisation gets the more complete photo album of my army and when I start painting what's left I will update this post with new pictures for you all to have a look at Smile I hope you all enjoy and for those Warface players out there this will make the Mech look puny and the APC, Tank, etc. Smile. The guys in the smallest armour would stand 8-10 feet tall in real life so you could imagine the size difference Wink and one more thing for those who know the game, my army in full including the 15 power armour dudes and 1 cavalry that are unpainted my army totals 5.5K points so it may be small for it's high point cost but it packs a huge punch that makes the Tyranids panic!

I play and paint. I love this game for the shear strategy that goes in an army and every army is different. I have 20 terminators, 2 dreadnoughts, 1 venerable dreadnought, 1 first edition lead dreadnought (extremely rare and a special character), 16-18 power armour dudes, 2 special character terminators, 1 special character power armour character, 1 predator tank, 1 land raider, 6 cavalry, and 1 drop pod. Smile If you were to spend the money that this army is worth on a different army you could end up with between 3-10x the amount of models. I had to pick one of the most expensive armies lol but entirely worth it. It is a fantastic game to play especially with painted models that you have painted Wink. There's another two armies up stairs as well but they are my friends armies. I will be painting the dude that goes on the wolf this weekend and then start the last cavalry model when I get a chance. It's a game that really encourages heavy strategy and tactics and no two games are the same. 5 terminators cost £40 just as a general figure and that is unpainted. I also have several other first edition models Very Happy

Paints are roughly £2.30 from the comic shop I go to purchase all my warhammer needs including insanely fine detail brushes. Look for a games workshop store Smile I could find one for you Smile
